Power restored after tractor-trailer hit utility pole

UPDATE: The power was restored around 2:40 p.m., according to Dominion.

RICHMOND, Va. - Nearly 500 people lost power early Saturday morning when a tractor-trailer struck a utility pole at the intersection of Hull Street Road and East Broad Rock Road.

The crash happened about 4 a.m., according to Richmond Police.

By 8 a.m., power has been restored for around 100 people.

No injuries were reported.
