$5000 reward being offered for info on suspected Colonial Heights auto shop arson

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. -- A new reward is now being offered for tips on who could be behind the suspected arson of a Colonial Heights auto shop.

The fire was first reported around 4 a.m. Thursday morning, at the Wamsley’s Tire and Auto Center in the 3500 block of Boulevard in Colonial Heights.

No one was hurt in the fire, but several vehicles on the property were moved prior to the fire. At least one vehicle was taken off the property; that vehicle was later recovered.

The Virginia Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators is now contributing to the investigation and has offered up to $5,000 reward for any information about the incident. Crime Solvers also has offered a $1,000 reward.
