CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. - Police are looking for two masked gunmen who robbed a sleeping Chesterfield man during a late-night home invasion. The suspects entered the home along the 3000 block of Maplevale Road, off Jeff Davis Highway, in Chester just before midnight Wednesday night.

"When he [the victim] opened his door, he was immediately confronted by a male suspect who displayed a handgun and demanded money," Chesterfield Police said. "That suspect and another man entered the residence, and took cash, electronics and jewelry before fleeing the scene."

The victim, police said, was likely not the intended target. Investigators said the victim's former roommate is currently serving time on a distribution of marijuana charge.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

"The first suspect is described as a white male, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 150 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a blue bandana and a black hat. This suspect displayed the handgun," police said. "The second suspect is described as a white male, about 6 feet 3 inches tall and 170 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black hat, digital camouflage shorts and a black bandana."

The suspects are believed to be armed and dangerous.
