NEW KENT COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Assistant Superintendent of Henrico Schools Dr. David Myers will be the next superintendent of New Kent County Schools. The New Kent School Board voted unanimously in favor of Dr. Myers during a recent meeting.

Dr. Myers begins his new role as New Kent superintendent on July 1.

“I am extremely honored to be selected as the superintendent of New Kent County Public Schools,” Dr. Myers said in a statement. “New Kent has an amazing reputation and an innovative spirit that I am excited to be a part of.”
