CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WTVR) –Shortly after 8 p.m. Thursday crews arrived to the report of a house fire on Isadora Drive in Chesterfield.

Lt. Jason Elmore said that crews found heavy fire.

The occupants, two adults and two juveniles, are displaced.

The cause of the fire appears to be the home owner was charging a vehicle on the drive way and left it running, Elmore said. He noted that it was some kind of battery cable short that seemed to caused the fire.

No injuries reported, and the cause remains under investigation.
