VIDEO: ‘I hope you die in prison,’ judge says to convicted killer

Judge and convicted killer

JACKSON, Mich. – A Michigan judge didn’t hold back when a convicted killer became defiant in his courtroom.

Thirty-one-year-old Camia Gamet was given a life sentence Wednesday for the murder of her boyfriend Marcel Hill two years ago. It was “one of the worst cold-blooded murders” Judge John McBain said he had ever seen.

At the sentencing, members of Hill’s family spoke and Gamet was seen rolling her eyes and snickering. Gamet even interrupted Hill’s aunt and said, “Is that it?”

That set off McBain.

“You’re going to shut your mouth or I’m going to have some duct tape put on it,” he said.

“You were relentless. You stabbed. You stabbed. You stabbed. You stabbed. You stabbed until he was dead. … I hope you die in prison. If this was a death penalty state, you’d be getting the chair.”

Gamet’s defense team says she acted in self defense.

Regardless of the situation that judge threatened her. In the end the judge is the one who puts a bad taste in my mouth. No matter what he should set an example and I don’t mean one that is like a violent hypocrite as he did.

I kind of agree with you and the judge Dustin. The judge could have held his composure, but the savage walrus democrat should be electrified until crispy.

Hey I never said I didn’t agree lol. The part about the death penalty I can understand because judges are people too but the part about the duct tape seems a bit excessive and in poor taste for someone of his standing.

Democrat? Why does everything have to be about politics? Let me guess which way politically you swing…Republican? Tea Bagger? Stop making everything about fucking politics.

It’s rather simple Khazat. It really is not a matter of politics. Democrats are a subculture destroying everything it influences. This would include anyone who tries to sell their lack of values as a real value. Lets not forget those those that think criminal activity is acceptable because their heroes or parents endorse it. independents and republicans do not defend it.

Maybe you should feel ashamed for voting for second rate beliefs and become a free thinker.

        Tell yo mama.

Khazat – the fact you use the term “tea bagger” tells me everything I need to know about your political views. I guess you enjoy the erosion of our rights. Step in line with the rest of the herd.

manalishi – actually there is a difference between what used to be a democrat and the liberal progressives that hide behind the democrat designation.

Dustin: The judge had every right to tell the woman what he planned to do if she did not shut her mouth, in fact, he could have just had it taped shut. It is a shame he could not have sentenced her to death instead or burdening the tax payers with the cost of her existence for the rest of her natural life. The murder trial must have been horrific for the family and friends of the victim, someone that can stab, and stab, and stab, etc. someone beyond death, deserves NO respect..

The judge could not have actually done that as it constitutes as assault and cruel and unusual punishment. Contempt and having her removed yes. Duct tape no. 14th amendment guarantees equal protection under the law. Your thinking just contributes to the tyranny thats becoming apparent in this country. If I duct taped anyones mouth that would be assault. If that judge did it would be as well. You cant pick and choose when the law applies and such thinking is dangerous and if this were true the precedent set would be disastrous.

About time someone stood up for what they believe. I applaud the judge for shutting down that disrespectful defendant. I don’t dare call her a person because people have feelings and she apparently does not. She was tried and found guilty of murder by her peers. I wish this country would go back to the law of an eye for an eye. If you were caught stealing your hand was cut off. She deserves to die. She took another’s life.

“back to” This country never had eye for an eye. You are thinking of tHammurabis code. That was middle eastern and is archaic. You basically want to go back to the stone ages like the muslims. At least the Jews adapted to the times.
