Hidden CameraDINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - Game cameras are designed to show hunters what is going on in the woods when they are not around during hunting season.

But it was a game camera, hidden inside a Cheerios box, that helped provide clues after someone broke into a Dinwiddie man's home.

The camera took photos of a man taking items from the Vaughan Rd. home, Dinwiddie investigators said. The crime happened between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

BE suspect FB"During the burglary, forced entry was made to the home and items were stolen," Dinwiddie Inv. Kenneth Droddy said. "Fortunately, the home owner had taken steps to protect his property by placing a security camera in the home."

The Dinwiddie Sheriff's Office has arrested Henry Boyd on two charges of Burglary and Grand Larceny. Investigators ID'd Boyd as the suspect after putting this photo on Facebook.

U.S. Marshals picked up Boyd around noon Friday in Petersburg.

Anyone who knows Boyd or anything about this crime is asked to call Inv. Droddy at 804-732-3108 or Crime Solvers at (804) 861-1212.
