GOLDMAN: Governor McAuliffe’s $100,000 dinner

Paul Goldman is a local lawyer who helped run Doug Wilder's historic campaign for governor of Virginia.

RICHMOND, Va. – Got a spare $100,000? If you do, then Governor McAuliffe has invited you and your companion, to a special, private dinner at the Governor’s Mansion. Just write the six-figure check to his new Political Action Committee.

In my exclusive co-authored article for the Washington Post, I reveal the previously secret details of the special favors being granted to those who can afford the $100,000, including special access to the Governor’s top policy advisors dictating policy for the McAuliffe Administration.

Think of it.

Formally selling special access to the Governor and top government officials by promising exclusive government benefits in exchange for a $100,000 quid-pro-quo.

I am not suggesting anything illegal. WHICH IS THE POINT! Is this really what you want at City Hall, at the Governor’s Mansion, in the Congress?

Let’s be honest here, corruption exists in both major parties. This is nothing new.

The only thing that can change this, are laws that disallow for those in position to solicit funds for PACs, SPACs, lobbyists, etc.

Furthermore, the outlawing of lobbying would go a long way in cleaning up our current state of affairs.

Face it? You’ll never be able to compare a democrat led regime to a civilized society. How do you get rid of lobbyists and still retain a media bias as equal?. Balance.

We have too many laws already and as we see from democrats, they just pick, choose and ignore them as they wish. This is a dominant factor as we slip from our first world status.

I called his office in January to get on his calendar regarding problems with the VA helping the Veterans, and no one called me back. I am a homeless and unemployed Veteran and a Veteran’s widow. Gee, the food must be good at $100,000 a plate. I guess there won’t be any Veterans invited to this event!

As long as said veterans pay the $100,000 plate fee they are. It’s ridiculous… I’m still amazed that people voted for this guy.

The very idea that democrats Still exist is proof positive that our founders dream never fully developed. I won’t live on a plantation but others seem rather comfortable with it.
