Wind gusts will top 30 mph at times this afternoon

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) -- CBS 6 Storm Team Meteorologist Mike Stone says all wind advisories have expired, but that winds will still gust above 30 mph at times this afternoon.

All of central Virginia is under a Red Flag Warning today for elevated fire danger.  That means due to the low humidity and gusty winds, any sparks or fires will spread rapidly.  Click here for the latest alerts.

Skies will be sunny, but temperatures will not increase much.  Highs will range from the mid 30s to lower 40s with wind chills in the 20s and lower 30s.  It will be mostly clear and quite cold tonight with lows ranging from the teens northwest to the 20s elsewhere.
