RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Investigators are working to determine what started an early-morning fire at Richmond Recycling along the 2500 block of Decatur Street.

A passing Richmond Ambulance Authority crew spotted smoke coming from the building and reported the fire about 1:15 a.m.

It took Richmond fire crews about 30 minutes to bring the fire under control.

No one was hurt in the fire.

Investigators said they believed the building was empty when crews arrived to fight the fire.
