Firefighters battle Northside house fire

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Fire investigators are working to determine the cause of an early morning house fire in Richmond.

When fire crews arrived at the Northside home along the 2800 block of Edgewood Ave. about 1 a.m., they discovered smoke coming from the second floor.

Richmond firefighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control.

No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.

The damaged home is located near Battery Park.
