HENRICO, Va. (WTVR) -- Fire officials were on scene Sunday responding to a report of heavy flames coming from the rooftop of a garage in Henrico.

Crews arrived at the 11500 block of Mill Road around 11:30 a.m.

Investigators found that the cause of the fire was a wood stove too close to flammable materials. The garage suffered severe burn damage, but firefighters managed to salvage most of the things stored in the garage.

The flames were under control by noon and no injuries were reported.
