CHESTER, Va. (WTVR) – The canopy above the Shell Gas Station near the intersection of Route 1 and Route 10 in Chester collapsed Thursday morning, according to Chesterfield Fire spokesman Lt. Jason Elmore.

Elmore said firefighters believed the weight of Wednesday night’s snow brought down the canopy about 4 a.m. Thursday. No one was injured.
