HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - She may seem nice enough, with her pink scrubs and eye glasses, but if the woman whose picture Henrico Police released Tuesday approaches you at the ATM, just say no.
The woman walked up to several people at Henrico ATM's in December with a story.
"The suspect told victims she needed to cash a check but she did not have her debit card with her. Several victims deposited the suspect's check into their own account and then withdrew the same amount in cash to give to the suspect," Henrico Police spokeswoman Lt. Linda Toney wrote in an email. "Checks provided by the suspect were all from closed accounts."
The suspect in the photo is described as a black woman in her mid-20’s, 5’6”, 135-145 pounds, according to police. She was last seen driving a dark color Dodge Charger.
In the photo the woman is wearing medical scrubs.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Henrico Police at (804) 501-5000 or Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
