RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) -- Chief Executive Officer at Chippenham and Johnston Willis Hospitals, Tim McManus, is trying new methods to inspire his employees, including revealing his own secrets.

Tim McManus revealed that he has been a patient before and shared his story. McManus hopes this will be the jump start of a series of inspirational talks, called "Tim Talk," modeled after the internet sensation "Ted Talk."

"We are all much better than just work, whether if it's in healthcare or any other job," McManus said.

'Tim' stands for "talent, imagination and music."
