RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – A disturbance will move into the area Saturday morning and begin as wet snow. Temperatures will slowly climb up through the 30s to around 40° during the day.

A quick moving disturbance in the upper levels of the atmosphere will bring the threat for a few light snow showers or flurries from mid-morning into the early afternoon.  The window is basically between 10 A.M. and 2 P.M.  We’re not expecting anything significant, so don’t cancel any plans today since accumulation is highly unlikely. In Richmond, our best window to get snow showers would be between 10 am and 4 pm. High temperatures will be around 40 degrees, so any snowfall will be slushy and wet, dusting the grass, cars, etc.
