NEW YORK (WTVR) – He might be preparing to play in the Super Bowl, but Varina native and Seattle Seahawks fullback Michael Robinson is thinking about his old high school.
“Continue to stay in your books,” Robinson said in a special video from the Super Bowl to Varina High School students. “I’ve been where you are right now. All your dreams can be possible. You’ve got to dream and work hard, lay out a plan and it can all be done.”
Robinson, who was the star quarterback at Varina High School before attending Penn State University in 2002, thanked Varina for the support over the years.
“Go Blue Devils!” Robinson declared in the video after congratulating Varina football standouts and wishing good luck to Varina’s winter sports teams.
