(CNN) — The Denver Broncos defeated the New England Patriots 26-16 Sunday in the AFC Championship Game at Denver to advance to Super Bowl XLVIII.

Peyton Manning completed 32 of 43 passes for 400 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Broncos to the win.

Denver will meet the winner of Sunday night’s NFC Championship Game, which pits the San Francisco 49ers against the Seattle Seahawks.

This will be the Broncos’ first Super Bowl appearance since the 1998 season when they won Super Bowl XXXIII.

The Super Bowl will start at 6:30 p.m. ET on February 2 in New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, site of the first outdoor, cold-weather Super Bowl.

I saw the results weeks before the game. Two super stars but one big problem. Brady plays for himself and can’t get pass the lost of two Super Bowls to little Eli and his Giants. Peyton once cocky but knocked out of the Colts because of an injury but learned to have faith in himself even with the Colts lost their faith. Peyton was seen by John Elway as a leader without a team. Peyton came to Denver humble and playing as a team member. Easy to see if you were paying attention. Peyton knows it’s the mine/team that wins as Brady stuck on the Manning needle. Now the Colts owner would be going to the Super Bowl had he just had faith in the player that build the Colts success for many years. I will always be an Eli and Giants fan even after death but love to see other great teams win as a team.
