RALEIGH, NC (WTVR) -- Severe weather rolling through North Carolina Saturday destroyed part of a condominium complex under construction.

A wildlife photographer captured the footage of strong winds, which gusted up to 85 mph,  knocking over part of the complex.

The storms caused damage throughout northern Georgia and the Carolinas and Virginia, knocking out power to thousands.

How crappy was that construction that some wind toppled it? What if they had been inhabited? The contractor should be made to strengthen each and every one of those condos. That’s insane.
