Get The Party Started with Tequila Shrimp

With cilantro, lime, garlic, butter and tequila, this shrimp dish is sure to be a hit at your next party.  The vibrant colors of green and pink make it a show-stopper.    Serves 4

BUTTER    2 T

OLIVE OIL    2 T

GARLIC    2 cloves, minced

SHRIMP    2 lbs. med/lg tail on shelled and deveined

LIME    2, one juiced and one cut into wedges

CILANTRO    ½ c, chopped

TEQUILA BLANCO    2 T

SEA SALT & PEPPER    to taste

In a skillet melt oil and butter, add garlic and stir for 3 minutes then add shrimp.   Stir until pink on both side, season with salt and pepper.  When shrimp are firm, add tequila and lime juice tossing until coated.  Plate and garnish with sprinkled cilantro and lime wedges.
