Detectives working ‘knockout game’ attack on Charlottesville’s Downtown Mall

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WTVR) – Charlottesville police are investigating a “knockout game”-style attack on the Downtown Mall earlier this month.

WCAV reports that officers were dispatched to the mall around 2 a.m. on Dec. 20 to investigate a report of an unconscious man near the Blue Light Grill. That’s where they found a woman that said three African American men had attacked her and another man.

Officers said the male victim offered more info to police on Dec. 21. Then,  the female victim contacted police to follow up on Dec. 29.

Police said that an overnight patrol officer had been working the case. However, the police chief announced Monday that the General Investigation Bureau would take over the case after he reviewed the initial report and additional information from the victims.

WCAV reports that two detectives have now been assigned to the case.

Amazing how all of this so-called attacks by mythical black brutes all sound the same. The reports always include white victims, “police say”, minimal details of any injuries, no camera phone video of the attack (remember that part of the “game”?) and no mean suspects to be found. Oh, and since when do victims of an assault come up with more details nearly a week after the incident? This whole thing is smelling fishy now.

Maybe you should learn how to read. The victim supplied additional information the next day… The female victim called week later to follow-up…

Also, there are witnesses and photos of the assault…

This article says NOTHING about witnesses or photos of the assault (?). Oh, but the video includes pics of random black ppl (2 men and 2 women) after the supposed assault? Gimme a break. Maybe police are not acting bc the story is sketchy and ridiculous.
