Christmas Tree Recycling Available in Central Virginia

There are a number of locations in central Virginia that will accept Christmas trees from area residents. Please be sure to remove all tinsel, bulbs, wire and bolts from the tree before taking it to a disposal center. Most facilities will be recycling the trees into mulch.

TOWN of ASHLAND RESIDENTS                                                       

  • Set tree at curb for collection by town crews.

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY RESIDENTS      

Northern Area Convenience Center at3200 Warbro Rd. off Hull Street Rd. or Genito Rd. Through January 31st, 9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Open Monday and Friday, Saturday and Sunday(closed holidays).

Southern Area Convenience Center at 6700 Landfill Rd. off Ironbridge Rd. Through January 31, 9:30 am – 6 pm   (closed holidays).

CITY of COLONIAL HEIGHTS RESIDENTS 

Starting December 27th–any Fri/Sat. No end date.

Recycling Center, 2701 Conduit Road (behind Sheetz).  Open  Fridays and Saturdays,  8 am – 12 (noon), 1-5 pm (closed from 12-1 pm and holidays) .
