RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR)–It makes perfect sense that the Mile of Style in downtown Richmond, also known as Carytown, will offer free horse-drawn carriage rides.

Downtown is keeping it classy in the shopping district. So big, clopping animals might startle you at first, but they are a thing this holiday season, so just step carefully when crossing the street.

The carriage rides start on Saturday, Nov. 30, as part of Small Business Saturday. The rides run from noon to 5 p.m. and will happen again Dec. 14 and 21.

Small Buisness Saturday will feature lots of great deals from local shops. The official Carytown Facebook page is posting previews of these deals, click here to see.
