Richmond, Va. (WTVR) -- If you still have left over Halloween candy you can put it towards a good cause.
Some local dental offices are hosting a Halloween Candy Buy Back today for Operation Gratitude.
Children can bring in extra candy until 5:00p.m. Monday at select dentist offices.
The office will then buy the candy from the children for $1.00 a pound.
Each child can earn up to $5.00.
The candy collected will be donated to overseas members of the U.S. military.
Children will be encouraged to write a short message to be mailed along with the candy.
