(KTVI) – The government shutdown is over a week old and has furloughed workers, disrupted businesses and closed national monuments. Now, a picture of a child, wearing bear pajamas, has gone viral.

The National Zoo’s gates are closed in Washington DC. Outside a sign reads, “The Smithsonian Museums and National Zoo are closed today due to the government shutdown. Please visit www.si.edu for updates. We apologise for the inconvenience.”

An image of a child looking into the Zoo was posted to Reddit by user SuperBonnie with the comment, “Please Open The Government.” The picture has caught fire on the we web with thousands of shares on Facebook and Twitter.

A Government that Refuses the voice, will and decision of
the Majority of We The People isn’t the written, established
and legislated form of US Government.
Close it. It is Unlawful and UnConstitutional.
    Call a Constitutional Convention.
