25th Anniversary of 2nd Street Festival

RICHMOND, VA. (WTVR): Second Street Festival turns 25 this year and the celebration features R & B sensation Morris Day and The Time and the All Female Band Be’la Dona on Saturday as well as many other local R & B, Blues and Jazz acts. On Sunday Gospel Great Maggie Ingram and the Ingramettes will close out the 2013 2nd Street Festival.

Event Organizers Venture Richmond in conjunction with The Black History Museum and the Valentine Museum are asking attendees to bring photographs of the Historic Jackson Ward and of the Festival from years past to document the history and memories of 2nd Street. The photos will be scanned on site.
