(WTVR) - Walmart stores have pulled a children’s costume called Naughty Leopard after parents complained it was offensive and sexualized young girls.

The costume was made for toddlers and featured a black dress with a purple leopard trim and cat ears.

A Walmart spokesperson told KATU-TV the costume was being pulled from stores.

“It was never our intention to offend anyone and we apologize to any customers who may have been offended by the name of the costume,” spokesman Danit Marquardt told the station.
