POWHATAN COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Search crews found the body of a missing Powhatan man Monday morning.
John Roberts III, 22, was last seen alive swimming in a lake Sunday afternoon. The private lake is located in the Maple Grove Subdivision off of Three Bridge Road.
The search for Roberts began Sunday night when he never returned home.
His body is at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Richmond where it will undergo an autopsy.
Investigators do not suspect foul play.
