HOPEWELL, Va. (WTVR)--Hopewell police are looking for the man caught on surveillance video robbing a fast food restaurant.

Police say the man seen in the video, in the dark clothes, jumped over the counter at the KFC on Oaklawn Boulevard Monday night. There were customers in the restaurant.

A flash of what appears to be a silver handgun is seen.  After the robber gets over the counter, he walks to the drive thru register and pushes some buttons and then takes off with cash.

The suspect is described as a black male between 5’5” and 5’9”, weighing between 140 and 155 pounds.

His face was partially covered and he was wearing a New York Yankees baseball cap.

Police also think the man may have injured his leg while he was trying to get away.
