This year marked the 20th anniversary of the last a Tuckahoe Little League team went to the Little League World Series and they were so close in making it this year.
Tuckahoe led 3-0 after two and a half innings but Tennessee would take the lead in the bottom of the third and would hold off a late rally to win 5-3 to advance to the Little League World Series, ending Tuckahoe's season.
