HOPEWELL, Va. (WTVR)– State Police are investigating a tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 295 southbound at E. Hundred Rd. that killed one person early Saturday morning.
Troopers were called to the scene of the crash around 3:20 a.m.
One of the occupants in the tractor-trailer died at the scene.
A second occupant suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital.
The crash remains under investigation and the identity of the deceased is pending next of kin notification.
