RICHMOND, VA. (WTVR): Summer time calls for family and friends getting together for a community event as well as a fundraiser for St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Saturday, August 3rd, the Highland Park Community will celebrate the 5th annual St. Elizabeth Catholic Church Jazz & Food Festival, A family friendly event with games, food and live entertainment.

This year’s festival features Plunky & Oneness, James “Saxmo” Gates, Carlton Ayles, Nicky McMullen and Curv Appeal but there are vendors and also non-profits with information on health, housing, senior needs and community issues.

Organizers are only asking for a $5 donation, the festival runs from noon to 7:30pm, the church is located at 2712 Second Avenue in Highland Park. For more details visit
