Part of Jesus’ cross unearthed in Turkey?

SINOP, Turkey (CNN) -- A piece of biblical history may have been uncovered at an archaeological dig in Turkey.

Archaeologists discovered a piece of the cross they think Jesus Christ was crucified on.

The artifact was discovered in small symbolic coffin in the Sinop province of Turkey.

The piece of rock, which has encrypted crosses on each side, was taken to a laboratory to be examined.
