RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) -- Governor Bob McDonnell has retained a high-profile attorney for his personal legal team.

John Brownlee specializes in white-collar crime and served as a U.S. attorney for the Western District of Virginia.

This news comes as two polls this week show McDonnell’s job approval rating dipping to a new low.
