Woman’s body pulled from Appomattox River
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) — Crews pulled a woman’s body from the Appomattox River Sunday afternoon.
Officials responded to the 21500 block of Chesterfield Avenue shortly before 2:30 p.m. for a report of a woman that went missing.
Authorities said it appears the woman drowned near Campbell’s Bridge. Her body was recovered near Archers Landing. A witness told officials that the woman was wading in the river.
