Tree falls on home, family evacuated

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - The Red Cross helped a family find a place to stay after a tree fell on their Chester home. Chesterfield fire officials are still trying to figure out if the weather caused the tree to fall on the home along the 4800 block of Shop St. in Chester.

The tree fell just before 9 p.m. Monday, according to officials. No one was hurt, however the tree did damage the home.
