Chesterfield police investigate fatal crash

CHESTERFIELD, Va (WTVR) - The Chesterfield County Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed one driver.

The crash occurred in the 10 block of W. Hundred Road about 11:54 p.m. on Monday night.

Police said a 1999 Chrysler was traveling west on W. Hundred Road when the driver pulled in front of a tractor trailer also traveling west bound.

The 51-year-old driver of Chrysler died at the crash scene.

The identity of the driver is pending the proper notifications.

Police continue their investigation into this crash but neither alcohol nor speed appear to be a factor.
