Monday night City Council postponed a decision on whether a Church Hill coffee shop can serve alcohol and stay open later.

Captain Buzzy's beanery filed the request in June.

Some in the neighborhood say they are worried the changes could bring more noise, traffic, and lower their home values.

But the coffee shop owner says there are already restaurants in the neighborhood that serve liquor and stay open until 2 a.m.

The decision has been pushed back until July.
