UR baseball coach resigns after confrontation

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) –  Richmond Spiders head baseball coach Mark McQueen announced his resignation Thursday. McQueen had been with the Spiders for 19 years, six years as the head coach.

The resignation comes weeks after McQueen was suspended indefinitely following a confrontation with a player during the season.

The University of RIchmond announced it has started a national search for a new head coach.
