Daylight shooting in Gilpin Court leaves man injured

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR)–Late Monday afternoon, police responded to a call for a shooting in the 1200 block of North 1st Street

When Richmond Police arrived they found a black male in his 20s with life-threatening injuries.

The man was transported to VCU Medical Center

RPD is appealing for tips to Crime Stoppers. There were people in the area at the time of the shooting and they believe there were witnesses.

This is the second recent shooting in Gilpin Court. Early Saturday morning a man was fatally shot.

Police ask anyone with information to contact 780-1000.
