According to WFOR, witnesses said people were dining at Shuckers Bar & Grill attached to the Best Western Hotel in North Bay Village when the wooden deck gave way and they fell into Biscayne Bay.
CNN reported that about 100 people were “involved in the collapse” Thursday night at a seaside Miami bar, Miami-Dade Fire Lt. Eugene Germain told reporters.
Authorities are treating 24 victims, three of whom have “critical injuries,” Germain said around 10:45 p.m., about an hour after the collapse. Authorities believe everyone is accounted for, Germain said.
