RICHMOND, VA. (WTVR): Local and national artists, more than 40 of them have been in River City painting the town, historic neighborhoods and sites and along the river for the 2nd annual Plein Air Richmond. Plein Air Richmond is a juried art competition with top prizes totaling over $10,000, this is also a benefit, every painting will be on sale with proceeds benefiting the Richmond Symphony.
It's easy to catch the artists, Friday they will be painting the Wilton House Museum, 215 South Wilton Road, Saturday from 9-11am on Monument Avenue "Fast and Fresh", artists will have 2 hours to paint followed by judging and awards and on Sunday exhibit and sale continues from 10am -4 pm.
