RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Taxpayers will shell out more than $11 million dollars to help finance a parking garage located at a new 16-story office building in downtown Richmond.

The garage will be part of the Gateway Plaza building, and will include hundreds of public parking spaces.

In exchange for helping to fund the $110 million project, the city will have 64% ownership in the parking garage.
