ST. PAUL, Minn. (WTVR) -- Facebook is known for connecting people, but it can also be a good crime fighting tool. Thieves broke into Jim Engelking's home and took his prized red 1998 Volvo.

Engelking's daughter is studying abroad, and just happened to be checking Facebook when a friend's status stood out. Her friend posted a picture of a poorly parked Volvo.

Engelking went to where the picture was taken and found the car. The thieves had even cleaned the car before ditching it.
