Seasoned reporter Lance West, with KFOR in Oklahoma, was reporting live at Plaza Elementary School, where a deadly tornado crushed the school.

The reporter began to break into tears describing how horrific the scene was, and said he had never seen anything like it. West has reported in the state for 17 years.

Crews initially reported that it was likely that more than two dozen children were dead at this school. Later reports from the medical examiner confirmed seven died.
