Families of Seal Team 6 protest at White House

Posted

WASHINGTON (WTVR)–The families of Virginia based Seal Team Six members want answers.

They were protesting across from the White House Thursday, over the deadly helicopter crash that killed 38 in Afghanistan. It happened August 6, 2011 when the Chinook helicopter was shot down by a rocket propelled grenade.

A total of seventeen of the service members were from Seal Team Six, the same team that shot and killed Osama Bin Laden. There were 30 Americans on board and eight Afghanistan operatives.

Their families say the U.S. Government is just as responsible as the Taliban because they were sent into battle without proper air support.
