Lineup announced for Richmond Jazz Festival

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) — The lineup has been announced for the Richmond Jazz Festival – one of the largest jazz festivals on the East Coast. The festival features local, regional and national artists.

The music starts with “Homegrown at the Hipp” at the Hippodrome Theater on August 9 for local and regional acts.

Then larger acts will take the stage August 10 -11 for the 4th Annual Richmond Jazz Festival at Maymont.

Here’s the complete lineup for Saturday’s acts at Maymont:

  • Soul of Summer* (Jonathan Butler, Sheila E & Elan Trotman)

Tickets go on sale today.

Saturday and Sunday day passes are $60 in advance before August 1. Weekend passes are $110 dollars in advance before August 1.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Maymont Foundation, Richmond Public Schools Education Foundation and ELO (Educational Learning Opportunities.)
