RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Here's the big picture of what's happening this week in central Virginia's weather.

A sluggish, closed low pressure system in eastern Tennessee will send moisture from the Atlantic over us today, leading to mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers during the day.

As that low gets a little closer to Virginia tonight, areal coverage of rain showers will increase in central Virginia.
