VSU victims’ families hope tragedy will prompt change

(WTKR) -- The families of two Virginia State University students that drowned during an apparent hazing ritual in the Appomattox River two weeks ago are talking about the tragedy for the first time.

The parents said they hope what happened to their sons will prompt major changes at VSU and other schools.
