Senator Mark Warner stopped by CBS 6 studios to speak with Bill Fitzgerald today.
Warner offers his take on why the stock market can set records and so many can still be out of work.
He talked about how the “incredibly dumb” sequester is putting a beating on Virginia in the form of military cuts. Right now there are more Navy admirals than there are ships.
He said morning after pill for everyone might make sense as a health policy, but as a father of three daughters he was comfortable with the 15 year-old cut-off.
Warner suggested Virginia might want to “tighten” its ethics laws in terms of what gifts lawmakers and their families can accept. He said he wasn't thinking about the 2016 presidential race, because his re-election looms in 2014.
